Good morning.

I crave GOLDEN GRAHAMS.

As I sent to [livejournal.com profile] heinousbitca's Blackberry:

General Mills Canada confirm it isn't marketed here, but bizarrely,
Wheaties now are. I've yet to see them in Canada at all.

Must remind myself: good poutine, good bannock, good street meat . . . good
poutine, good bannock, good street meat . . .

WANT GOLDEN GRAHAMS AUUUUGH.

From where this originated, how come now, and why at all, is this morning's insatiable mystery. Either plain or in milk, I don't really give a shit. I guess next time I visit the 50 48 below the 49th, I'll buy a complete box of the stuff — like the kind they use to deliver to the supermarkets.

SWEET JESUS. WHYYYYY?

I love Golden Grahams!

However, I feel like I'm the only person alive who thinks Cinnamon Toast Crunch kinda sucks.

My mother had this thing for buying the newest products when they came out, even if we hadn't asked for it. CTC hit sometime around 1984, I recall, and she bought it constantly. At first, it was tasty, but then the undertaste (covered by the sugared coating) of burnt, bread-like chips couldn't be ignored. Then after having bttered cinnamon toast (probably at my grandmum's house), I just stopped eating CTC altogether.

Golden Grahams are timelessly simple. They had for a brief time a second Golden Grahams variety, but exactly what is escaping me. Maybe it had cinnamon?
